Lovely atmosphere, very cool and enjoyable ambiance. Our waiter Khulekani was pleasant and treated very professionally. The food was lovely, for starters we had the beef shortrib and sticky chicken wings, my partner ordered oxtail and mash for the main course and he was very happy, I had a lamb stew with veggies which was tasty. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and sticky pudding, it was all decedent. Definitely looking forward to coming through again.

Had quick lunch last year with my boyfriend. The place was absolutely clean. The food was absolutely amazing. The oxtail was prepared very beautifully. I highly recommend. Came back again this year

We celebrated our anniversary here at the end of August and really enjoyed the experience. The starter was good The sushi as well as my husband's ribeye steak and prawns was out of this world . However the beef wellington was not up to standard. The fillet inside was grey and literally well done ...whilst the pastry wasn't fully cooked which the waiter did agree with The restaurant did compansate with the desert as a gesture of goodwill . Will be back to try other stuff on the menu

Oysters are fresh and delicious. Steaks are cooked well BUT the seasoning on them is a little too much. Tastes a little more like “braai meat” but overall, good food, good cocktails and drinks and an amazing atmosphere

Really pretty with a calm atmosphere. The music is just the right volume. The service received from my waiter, Evidence was good and friendly (thanks for that). The menu offers interesting choices - not the usual stuff. The food was incredible! My choice - the oxtail pie. You will not go wrong. It is well-presented, tasty and a good portion. Well done, Steak & Oyster!! I'll be back.

After a busy morning collecting our Comrades Marathon kit from the expo my friend and I enjoyed a late lunch at this lovely restaurant not far from where we were staying. The staff were friendly and welcoming and service good. We both enjoyed our meals very much. Perfect protein and carb combos only 3 days out from the big event. They very kindly allowed us to pay separately too.
